PASTOR STEVE WOLOSIN
Pastor Steve and his wife, Lorraine, have been in full-time ministry since 1981. Originally from Rockaway, New Jersey they came out of the rock and roll culture of the 60s and 70s.
They began walking with the Lord in 1978 and were married in that year. They graduated from Free Gospel Bible Institute in Export, Pennsylvania in 1981. Pastor Steve is also a 1986 graduate of Northeastern Bible College (Now The King’s College – NYC).
In 1982 they founded Cornerstone Christian Academy in Randolph, New Jersey. Steve was the principal and taught High School math and science. Lorraine taught in the elementary school and also served as a teacher’s aide.
In 1988 they sensed God’s call to relocate to Oak Ridge and started the Philadelphia Church at that time in their home. They have 3 children, Carrie, Stephen III and Emmanuelle all of whom are involved in the ministry of the church.
In 1990 Pastor Steve teamed up with Wayne Scott Farley to form “Force For Good” a Christian contemporary band. The band played extensively throughout the tri-state area and recorded 2 albums, “If you Only Knew” and “When the Mists have Rolled Away.” They also established “The National Heart” a Christian television program which Pastor Steve has continued to the present.
